Conclusion

As I went and visited these colleges, I liked the views of all of them. I liked the sites, the atmosphere, everything was awesome. The one that caught my eye was Menlo College. Menlo reminds me so much of Pacheco, it would feel like I'm at home. They play physical and ferocious. I like this college because it's closer to home, it's a university, and they have great internships. The internships would help get ready for the real world. So if all goes well and I get an 17 on the ACT, I will be a Menlo Oak playing Football next year!

Similarities and Differences

The similarities between Menlo and Puget Sound are that they both are 4-year schools. The tuition at both are expensive! At both locations, the weather is just my type of weather, always beautiful. The class sizes are very similar to. The main difference is how they run their offense, and the you're off offense. At Menlo and Gavilan they're more differences than similarities. Gavilan is a J.C. And they run a no huddle offense, so it's a quick tempo. Also, the weather at both are good. At Puget Sound and Gavilan they both have a fast paced offense. The only difference is that Gavilan doesn't huddle. They both have new coaches and have shown some success.
Out of ask of the three, they're good schools to go to. I won't regret any decision I make. They're small, good coaching and beautiful campuses.

University of Puget Sound

During my senior year of Football, I went to Tacoma, Washington to visit University of Puget Sound. Tacoma is in the middle of everything, its 30 mins away from Seattle Washington(which has perfect views!). They're a lot of attractions such as the loudest NFL stadium ever, to going to eat an expensive dinner at the Space Needle. They recently go a new coach who is rebuilding the program. He had a rough season but with that, come great respect and pride at the end. The only bad thing about this is the tuition is expensive and its kind of far from home. I would still have grants and loans, but not as much as Menlo.

Menlo College

Just recently I went to Menlo College for a recruiting visit. I also got invited to watch a Football game of theirs a couple of months ago. The campus is just absoutely beautiful! Also, this college is a 4-year university that majors in business, I want to get my degree in business administraion. Menlo is approximately 30 mins away from San Francisco, so its not to far from home. Menlo would offer an athletic scholarship and I would get grants, and loans so it would pay for most of my tution. The enrollement is only 700 students because Menlo is a private school and because its a private school, they have a 16:1 student/teacher ratio. The weather there always perfect, never really to hot. If it does,
its only time to time. Menlo has a new coach also, and hes going in there with a year under his belt. Him and his team did good against good competition. With the intensity and fire I saw them play, its like I'm at home.

Gavilan College

A couple of weeks ago I went to Gilroy and visited Gavilan College. This college is a J.C. which means its a two year school. The good part about this is that it would be really cheap for, and its not to far from home. There would be no athletic scholarship becaused it is a J.C. The student/teacher ratio is about 15/1, so its a small campus. The college is by the hills so its by nature and sometimes you can see wild life walk around the campus. The weather is usually cloudy, but during the summer it can get to the mid 80's. The fairly new head coach is doing a great job with hiring new coaches, and with the up-tempo offense.
